Let’s Be God’s Teachers

Welcome! We're glad you’ve taken the time to join us here. Our organization is relatively new, much like a newborn. As with any new baby, we rely on proper food to survive, and we will share the good food we find with you, our readers.

Speaking of babies, they can’t survive on their own. All children need love, companionship, protection, instruction, and correction. It’s a tricky balancing act that parents face every day. Every intentional parent knows: “You can’t give what you don’t have.” It doesn’t mean you have to be perfect, but followers of Jesus realize we should constantly strive to be the very best role model for our children. And God sent his Son as our Savior for that purpose.

Thus, feeding and nourishing families with real food is crucial in this age of confusion. I believe you’ll agree that Jesus is the real food we need. The messages and call to evangelization He passed on to the Apostles should not and cannot be “watered-down” by others.

Jesus' act of sacrificing Himself for our sins has broken the chains os slavery to self, to worldly things. Yet, it hasn’t stopped people from sinning. People continue to sin, and like any good parent who sees a child committing the same self-harm over and over, we stop what we are doing and ask the child to change.

God and Jesus will make a home in us if we ask. They won’t do it unless we acknowledge our sinful lives. Once we do that, we can follow the “road map” given to the Apostles that leads to Heaven. The Catholic Church recognizes these teachings through the Magisterium–the official Teaching Office of the Catholic Church. Follow them faithfully, not some social media post by people wanting attention.

Don’t trust my word for it, trust Jesus’ own words:

“Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.” John 14:23

Raising a child in the world is hard work. Teaching children the truths God reveals will help them reject the harmful ideas the world teaches. For the world stands at your child’s door every day, knocking every moment, wanting to enter.

Advocates for the Holy Family would like to be a source of solid Catholic teaching for you to share with others. Nourish your soul with Holy Scripture and the Eucharist, and read our newsletter for information that might inform and enlighten you. We’re all in this together!

Thanks for reading. God bless.
