Perseverance & Growth

The spiritual life requires perseverance, humility, and cooperation with grace. These teachings guide the soul in remaining faithful, avoiding presumption, and growing steadily in holiness until the end.

  • The Confusion
Some believe that an initial conversion or profession of faith is sufficient for salvation.

    The Truth
One must remain faithful in grace until the end in order to be saved.

    Why It Matters
Without perseverance, grace can be lost and salvation forfeited.
